California Tile Sealers was established by Bob Pohanish in early 1989 as a one man residential floor cleaning and refinishing service. Having been a floor refinisher for a local Southern California fortune 500 company for the previous 7 years, his duties included the cleaning, stripping and refinishing of the following floor surfaces:
- Concrete
- Ceramic Tile
- Porcelain Tile
- Natural Stone
- Terrazzo
- Vinyl Composition
- Steel
- Hardwood
- Epoxy Resin
- Carpet
Slip resistant treatments were also applied to most of the hard surface floors listed above.
Bob has acquired numerous certificates of completion from classes in the art of proper hard surface floor refinishing, chemical handling, and work place safety. Having a vast amount of knowledge and many years of trial and error experience, Bob was determined to provide the public with the highest quality of workmanship at very competitive rates. Bob was often told by both his peers and his superiors that he paid too much attention to detail. “It’s just a floor” was heard quite often while Bob was completing a floor refinishing project. But to Bob, it was NOT just a floor. It was a a reflection of his dedication and commitment to excellence. While this attention to detail may not be appreciated in the vastness of a fortune 500 company, it is exactly what every homeowner wants, and DESERVES !
